I'm not sure if these are related but they both started occuring at the same time, just after I tried to install the lates version of CCleaner. I have 2 options at this point: 1) delete all instants of IE in task manager or 2) restart the computer.

It just blinks for a second and nothing happens except it adds another IE process in tack manager. Then after it builds up several instants of the IE process' it won't open an IE window when I double click on the icon. I also noticed that after the problem occured, now when I launch IE it keeps an entry in the "process" tab in task manager evertime I launch a IE window, even when I close IE. I even left it running overnight and it was atill on 3% when I got to work the next morning. I'm now back on the latest version but still it just sits at 3%. I uninstalled the latest and rolled back to my earlier version and it did the same thing. I uninstalled it and re- downloaded/installed it and then it would only go to 3%. I restarted the computer and CCleaner wouldn't run.
